Peter has served as Lead Pastor at Cornerstone since September 1, 2020. Peter Rufener has been married for 25 years and has three kids. He graduated from Toccoa Falls College and has been in pastoral ministry over 22 years. During that time he has served in three different churches in Michigan before coming back to Ohio and joining the Cornerstone Family.
Brock grew up at Cornerstone and has been a part of the church dating back to its former location on Smeltzer Road. He graduated from Cedarville University and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with degrees in Biblical Studies and Theology and loves to teach God's word. After teaching several years at Cedarville University, Brock returned to Cornerstone and Marion County, where he helps run his family farm. He loves being with his wife Melissa, sons Brogan and Elliot, and daughter Kinlee.
Matt has been a part of ministry at Cornerstone since 2007. In 2014, he took on a full-time role in worship ministry in addition to assisting with care ministry. He is humbled to be on this life-long adventure of chasing after God's heart in worship and working to strengthen relationships within the body of Christ. Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, he and his wife, Amy, moved to the Marion area to pursue an education opportunity and to be close to family. They are blessed with and have the responsibility to raise five children: Asa, Iris, Eva, Eli, and Olive. Matt is currently studying in the LEAD Program as part of his ordination studies.
