that will benefit the mission!
From Amazon...
What is AmazonSmile?
AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon that lets customers enjoy the same wide selection of products, low prices, and convenient shopping features as on Amazon.com. The difference is that when customers shop on AmazonSmile (smile.amazon.com), the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to the charitable organizations selected by customers. In our case, we would encourage customers to select Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Marion as the charitable organization to receive the 0.5% donation.
How do I participate?
-
Create a personal Amazon account if you don’t already have one.
-
Visit www.smile.amazon.com and sign-in using your Amazon.com sign-in information.
-
Select “Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Marion” as the organization to receive the 0.5% donation from the AmazonSmile Foundation.
-
Begin shopping and purchasing just as you would on Amazon.com.
-
In the future, always go to www.smile.amazon.com in order to shop on Amazon so that 0.5% of your purchases go back to the school. If you fail to shop through www.smile.amazon.com our school will not receive 0.5% of your purchase.
Is AmazonSmile the same thing as Amazon?
Yes. When you search items on AmazonSmile you will find the same items as you would on Amazon. The only difference is that most of the items found on AmazonSmile will be eligible for the 0.5% donation back to BCS. If items are not eligible for the 0.5% donation, you can still purchase them just as you would on Amazon.com.
Does it cost me more to shop on www.smile.amazon.com?
No. The 0.5% donated to our school comes out of the commission that Amazon makes on the products that they sell.
